We will be gathering there at both noon and 5pm on Thursday and Friday. We will be holding a major march and rally on Saturday, March 22, starting at 2pm, also at Olympic Plaza.

The Boundary Peace Initiative Grand Forks, British Columbia, is taking action on Saturday, March 22nd to voice our concern over the impending death of thousands of innocent lives because of the pre-emptive strike on Iraq by the U.S. and the willing, as they call them. The Lindsay Ministerial Association is organizing a Prayer Vigil at 7:00 PM Sunday, March 23, at Cambridge St. United Church, Cambridge St.N., Lindsay, ON. This will be followed by a candlelight march to the Lindsay Armoury, Bring flashlights or candles.

The Medicine Hat Peace Group will be rallying on Saturday March 22 at the Speakers' Corner downtown in Medicine Hat at 1:00pm. Everyone wishing to speak against this terrible attach on Iraq will be able to do so.

On Saturday, March 22nd 2003, Uxbridge will be home to another peace march. There will be a candlelight vigil also on this day. The actions can be viewed as an emergency gathering to oppose the war or a last ditch attempt to avert the war if it has not begun yet. The march will congregate in front of the Uxbridge Public Library at 1pm. It will weave around the downtown area of Uxbridge for an hour. The candlelight vigil will gather at 7:30pm, also in front of the Public LibraryResidents and business owners are urged to meet at 1pm and 7:30pm in front of the Uxbridge Public Library to support each other. All individuals who feel a war is an unnecessary means to solve the problems in Iraq are welcome. These events are family friendly. We understand that most people will be unable to stay away from work. If you are unable to come to the U.S. Consulate during the course of the day, please come to the Vancouver Art Gallery at 5:00 p.m. We will gather people until 6:00 p.m. and then March down to join the demostrators at the U.S. Consulate for a massive protest. Once again...dress for the weather and temperature.
IF IRAQ IS ATTACKED, meet outside the Armed Forces Recruitment Office at 827 Fort Street at 5 pm on the day (or the next day if the attack occurs later than 5 pm). Come out to protest our government's complicity.
