Resolution on February deployment

Whereas, the Canadian Peace Alliance continues to oppose the occupation of Afghanistan and Canadian participation in it; and

Whereas, the Canadian government currently led by Stephen Harper and the Conservatives is planning to deploy another round of troops to Afghanistan in February 2007;

Therefore:

€ Be it resolved that the Canadian Peace Alliance oppose the deployment of another round of troops to Afghanistan in February 2007; and
€ Be it further resolved that the Canadian Peace Alliance support the work of its member organizations as they work locally to organize events to mark the deployment in February 2007.
